Who We Are
In signing the personal commitment, religious leaders are accountable to themselves, to each other, and to the people mentioned in the commitment. A number of organizations, several of whom helped organize the March 2010 Summit of High Level Religious Leaders on the Response to HIV, are committed to providing resources and opportunities to support religious leaders in fulfilling their commitment, including reporting on the commitment every 18 months.
A multifaith working group, with participation by key multilateral organizations and civil society partners, is promoting the personal commitment, providing support to religious leaders and others, and guiding the reporting process. The working group is facilitated by the Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance:
